Calling all artists and photographers! Our 2023-2024 magazine is looking for cover submissions.

Guidelines

  1. Submit as .png and/or .jpeg.
  2. While not required, we appreciate if you name the file(s) the title of your piece.
  3. Any images submitted need to be at 300 DPI or higher to ensure that they will print properly. If you aren’t sure how to find the DPI, this article offers a few different ways to check.
  4. Similarly, if the image quality is too low (e.g. blurry, out-of-focused, etc.), we may have to ask for a different version. Unfortunately, this does mean that if you are for one reason or another unable to take a new one, we will have to reject it.
    • If you are concerned about image quality for photos of physical works, please reach out to us at iupngar@gmail.com and we can discuss the possibility of a staff member coming to help take photos.
  5. The cover art is required to follow our theme.
  6. You may make as many cover art submissions as you like, but there will only be one “winner” (who will not be chosen till after submissions have closed).
    • You may, however, select for your piece to be considered as a regular submission if not chosen to be the cover.
  7. It’s important to note that the cover submission must work with having our name and volume publication information on the cover.

Submissions Close on February 18th, 2024 at 11:59 P.M.
